About The Open Question

Why this exists and who is behind it.

What This Is

The Open Question is a free public resource that gives plain, scripturally grounded answers to the hard questions people ask about the Bible. Questions raised by sceptics. Questions that catch Christians off guard in conversation. Questions people carry quietly for years without ever finding a satisfying answer.

The content is not written for a specific denomination or church. It is written for anyone who wants to engage with the Bible honestly. That includes people who believe it, people who do not and people who are genuinely unsure.

Every article follows the same approach. The challenge is presented fairly, as a real sceptic would raise it. The answer draws on the full biblical text, engages honestly with the hard parts and avoids the kind of deflection that makes faith look fragile. Where an argument is inference rather than scripture, it is presented as such.

How It Grows

New questions are answered as they are submitted. The site is not a finished product. It is a growing resource, shaped by what people are actually asking. If you have a question, a challenge someone put to you or something in the Bible that has never made sense, use the form on the All Questions page to send it in.

Who Is Behind It

The Open Question is a resource produced by David from the Hiturn Media Group and is operated independently. For enquiries, contact us via the question submission form.
